How Can Reflexology Help

Practiced for over 5000 years, Reflexology is a non-intrusive and gentle therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet, hands or face correspond with different areas of the body. Working these points may help relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Reflexology can help with stress, anxiety, insomnia, IBS, mood improvement and the perception of health. But it is also there to support the whole person and not just symptoms. More and more of us are suffering from the effects of stress, existing in a constant state of 'fight or flight' and finding those moments to relax few and far between. Reflexology can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony not just in the body but in the mind and spirit as well.

As a Reflexologist, I do not claim to diagnose or cure any physical or mental health problems. Reflexology is not an alternative to medical treatments and you should always seek advice from a medical practitioner if your are experiencing any pain. Reflexology is a complementary therapy that helps encourage self healing and may be a great companion to mainstream therapy or medical treatment, but always follow your GPs advice.

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and am committed to continually developing my skills and knowledge in order to provide the highest quality treatments I can.
